On behalf of all of our Family, my New Wife and I would like to thank Chef Brian for the amazing fayre that you prepared for our Wedding Celebrations. From the initial contact with La Belle Assiette to the clearing of the last plate, the smoothest of booking procedures to the dietary anomalies we presented you with, you were not phased in the slightest, and the end results had all of us totally enthralled and sincerely impressed with both the fine quality and the exceptional flavours that you presented on the day. We wholeheartedly recommend Chef Brian to any and every one.

Chef Brian was brilliant and I would highly recommend him. He catered for my dad’s 60th birthday at the accommodation we had hired in Guisborough. He was a pleasure to plan the event with and we had a very helpful call beforehand to go through the evening and the menu. He gave recommendations on what meal options were popular and might work well based on the numbers and preferences. He was also quick to respond to any questions that I had before the night.

On the evening, Brian and his wife Anne were friendly and made everything really memorable. We had a 3-course meal that was delicious and well presented. Everyone enjoyed it and there were a lot of clean plates after each course! It was like being in a restaurant but more special having it with a chef at home. I can’t recommend Chef Brian enough!

I arranged a surprise dinner party for my wife’s birthday, it was the first time we had invited a chef into our home to cook for us but I have to say that the whole experience was incredibly positive and enjoyable.

We were matched with a chef called Brian Mcelderry and from the beginning his help, support and advice on choosing the menu was first class. Our party of six for the evening included a pescatarian, someone who doesn’t like fish and another (me) who is allergic to tomato. Brian helped me to navigate these challenges and put together a bespoke menu for our group.

On the evening Brian arrived with his wife Anne at 5.30pm exactly as had been promised and after some warm greetings with the guests and an explanation to my wife that we weren’t really waiting for a taxi they set about preparing our feast.

Mixed canapes were first on the menu and we demolished them before taking our seats at the dinner table that Anne had set for us to tuck into the starter of Crab with an Asian slaw (one substituted for chicken, see above). We then moved onto the mains of beef with a bourbon sauce and finally sticky toffee pudding with homemade vanilla ice cream. Every part of every course was delicious.

To top this off, after Brian and Anne cleaned everything up, we then had a good chat about the food, Brian’s experiences as an Executive Chef around the world etc which finished off the event really nicely.

Brian and Anne then headed off leaving us all with full stomachs and great memories of a wonderful evening.

I would recommend Brian and Anne without any hesitation and we will certainly be in contact with them to join us again for future special evenings.
